The SHS style shutter panel has five integral wooden parts connected by mechanical fasteners and nylon pivoting pin for louver movement. The required parts are as follows:
1. Qty. 2 STILES- left and right vertical frame parts of which the louvers pivot on and defines the overall shutter panel height.
2. Qty. 2 RAILS - upper and lower horizontal frame parts that define the overall width and longitudinal strength of the shutter panel.
3. Qty. ? LOUVERS - horizontal moving parts of a shutter panel of which pivot on nylon louver pins. The number of louvers is based upon the height of the shutter panel and the heights of the upper and lower rails.
4. Qty. 1 Mid-Rail - if constructing a shutter panel over 48"tall and typically replaces the centered vertical louver(replacing one louver space)of the shutter panel.
The SHS-LBL style shutters have the same shutter parts as the SHS style shutter panel except the SHS-LBL has a centered vertical frame part, intermediate stile, (I) above and two times the number of louvers. The SHS-LBL style shutter panel is typically used on shutter panels over 24"wide for stability.
